Ok, I've decided, starting in 2010 I'll be running year long tournaments, a challenge will be given to the participants each month and at the conclusion of the year we will have a best player and a best clan (and if I think it is deserved some less serious awards for displays of skill during the challenges). I haven't quite decided on a prize yet but I'm considereing custom banners for use in forum signatures.
If you wish to participate say so here along with which clan you'll be in (don't worry about clans too much, if you aren't in one and join one after putting your name down or leave the one you're in and join another just tell me and I'll change the information)
As for the challenges, they may take place on a number of different mods, but generally on the latest 1.3 patches, I'm hoping to make new maps for all of them. In order to make it completely fair everyone will have to screen capture their attempts and send them to me.
Also, if some of you could advertise this on other BZ2 related sites and direct people here it would be greatly appreciated. Let the registration commence, this is open until the end of December.

I find that if I don't have a signature, some people disregard the last couple of lines of a long post. IQ's have really dropped around here just recently, must be something in the water.

I'd like to include them (its supposed to be an all round tournament, if you aren't good at one thing you can make up for it elsewhere). That said, ensuring that they aren't rigged could be a problem...

I'd be interested in spectating. It would be fun. Plus I wanna see which of the native 1.3 players are really good.  Also, I hope that Commando participates too. I stratted with him once and he's pretty good for a native 1.3 player. |

I am more likely to be creating things for you guys to torny in than to play them. Though I may since knowledge of making them might help offset how rusty I am at actual play.
