Is there some sort of maximum draw distance for objects in Multi player? There is a space map in Dogfight mode which has objects visible at over 700 metres away... But the asteroids sort of appear very suddenly, and 'snap' into view rather than fade in with the global fog...

The map works fine when no other player is in the game (and therefore multi world is off), but as soon as another player enters it gets very glitchy.

I think there is a 400m draw distance in mp, which I wish could be adjusted by the host.  In 1.2, it was adjustable as far as I know, but could cause sync issues.

Most likely cutting graphics lag to stop it adding to network lag.

Multiworld has a fixed distance it cuts off remote objects from the visual worlds, for speed. When there's only a subset of the full world to simulate, things go faster. 1.2 had a tuning param for this, along w/ MWF, but 1.3 has made MWF a server-set value in order to ensure things are consistent across all machines.

How exactly would one make this distance larger for a specific map? This map is quite sparse, the engine could keep track of the whole thing without issue compared to normal map sizes.
