First of all I still run Windows ME and newer 3d applications won't run on older systems like ME. Secondly, I'm not to brainy either and a simple to use modeler is an absolute must for peeps like me that need something simple enough to use yet still advanced enough to make BZII models. Ironically, Caligari pulled the plug on Gamespace quite a while back, but atleast I can still use it freely for as long as I want.

When I'm not in hot water with the community I'm usually plotting world destruction, and giving other modders a headache. Did I mention that I like to model units and props for the game?

It also costs money, which you normally won't expend unless you need to. Since they were released so close together, ME and 2000 are strikingly similar, and if BNG doesn't have any problems with ME, why change?

ME works fine. I don't have clue where I could get 2K anyways, but if I could I'd go with NT instead as TS 7.6 apparently will run under it; atleast that's the message I got when I tried to install it under ME. Actually, I'm really surprized I can make BZII models at all as I have no budget to buy much of anything. I be one a dem dare po fokes wit lots o ideas, but not much o da green stuff. Yall come back ya here?

I find that if I don't have a signature, some people disregard the last couple of lines of a long post. IQ's have really dropped around here just recently, must be something in the water.

Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Home Server, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 are based on Windows NT, although they are not branded as Windows NT.

I thought 2000 and NT 4 were sparate programs, with NT 5 == Windows XP, and so on.

2000 was released before ME, which is odd because 2000 is a member of the NT line, created as an interim between 9X and NT. And then MS went back to 9X for one more release :S
I used to use ME. Never had any problems with it, but I wasn't an advanced user so it's likely that they did occur and I just didn't notice them.
