OT: Rampant error throughout this forum.
Loose is the white scrap that comes from killing things. It is advisable to pick up all loose before deploying.
Lose is to fail the game. It is advisable not to do this.

I mean busted as in you can't have thugs, and if a fifth player wants in, he gets his own rec etc. Mighty shame!

the map is called: st:4play, i think its on top of the st maps. (its a ffa map) a whole lot of loose scrap spawns at the middle throughout the game. if you manage to get some defence and scavs there, u basicly won the game. theres a whole bunch of people that host that map and then quit or kick you when you beat them to it. (which is mostly the case) ghost-kix and some others, i cant recall their nicks.

I don't bother to join ghost-kix games any more, he kicks you as soon as you start winning. Shame, you only learn how to win by learning why you lose. I mean busted as in you can't have thugs, and if a fifth player wants in, he gets his own rec etc. Mighty shame! Not busted, that's how its supposed to work. The shell UI could not even do 4 player with thugs, the screens don't exist. Maybe this would be an interesting project for someone, but I think there will be too many reasons why it won't work. Setting it to 5 players is user error, the maps are only designed for 4 players, that's why they have 4 in the title. I wonder if a 5 player map would work?

1.3 shows how many minutes the game has been playing, even before you join. And the number of people playing. There's no reason to join a ST game in progress w/ only 1 player in it.

It would be cool if the map could set the max number of commanders with spawn points, and the .dll would just randomly assign a team and ally slot to any other player that joins. Imagine FFA with thug variant Although, theres probably a very simple reason this hasn't been done... EDIT: Im pretty sure you can have more than four players. Isn't there a sixway map as a remake of a DR2 map? (Check UEP, yes there is!) Six way FFA

just have the dll look for the fist 0# teams/players and then stop giving recs after it reaches the 0# team/player. that way the first say 4 poeple to join would get to be commanders and the others would be on their teams. or just a limet on the total # of recs would work.

Interesting note, players joining post game start also do weird things. A limit 4 players total game with 3 joiners all on the same team causes a semi-useless F slot or 2 as the engine EXPECTED 2 of those joiners to be on the other team (was a test game for something).

Darkfox has recently given me a newfound and enduring love for the blast MDM serviced assault tank. The thing is like a fortress from hell on wheels. It can be countered, but if you are sitting far back and MDMing it, the thugs in THEIR own blast sabres can get a few easy shots in. How I countered his serviced assault tank: With one of my own

My team were supposed to hit pools while I came and gave your base towers lip service with that thing. They just kept suiciding themselves instead! Blast tanks are great, but they can be 'rushed'. Walkers, with double the health, are generally better if you have the scrap to afford them, plus a couple of salvo rocket tanks to watch your back.
