surr I am still trying to remake some of the effects that cost to much to redender but that asside....

When you fudge it, the only thing you can do sometimes is render like the sun don't shine.

Same reason that emulators take up tons of CPU. Although to get your effect to run steadily, it seems the only way is to get more PC muscle. Fine by me, but it is a very niche market for ultra high end equipment around here, and very few people will play in sub-25 FPS. Good luck..

a cheap laptop.

AMD Sempron[tm] SI-42
3 GB RAM
32 bit Vista Home

even on max settings I get 230 to 260 fps in bz2.
if I turn every thing off I can get up to 280 to 300 fps.
I still have stuf runing in the backround all the time.
becouse of this I get to wach servers lag long before I will.
