I think someone needed to start the topic... While playing a game using Greenhearts variant some pathing code bug appeared in the chatbox. It happened 4-6 times in the game, but seemed to clear up. I'll post a screenshot and if you need the log, I have no place to upload it right now.. Screenshot includes console to see all the bug details, and the AIP debugger is shown. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p107/squirrelof09/pathingcode.png

It's the game specifically 'NOT' freezing on you. We know it happens with flying units being destroyed, especially on non level terrain, but we don't know why.

That bug isn't anything to really worry about.

That bug froze me multiple times that game, always when I was about to run away to save my ship.
I never managed to get away..lost about 3-4 heavy warriors to that bug alone.

Knew about the Archers ("not a show stopper") and the hauler might just be the way the bump map applies light since it is supposed to be translucent on the membranes.
It's DEFINITELY the bump maps for the Archer, toggle them and check it out.

If the bumpmaps do that, then they are obviously intentional. Bumpmaps were around in 1.2 i believe... so in my opinion it was the artists effect was it not?

I checked the hauler out on a different map, Alien Dunes IA. Compared to the transparent hauler in the picture, the one in Alien Dunes IA was yellow. I don't think it had anything to do with he color of the map either.
Perhaps make this topic sticky?
Edit: okay, missed what you said about he hauler, earlier. Understood. Hauler is supposed to be like that.

I hate to feel like I'm pestering the beta team. But, Every time resync's occur, I lose my selected Nav Beacons. I like to name my nav beacons, so I have them selected at all times.
I have the ~ key set to reselect all navs 1-10 when I press it, so that's an easy fix for me.

I dont think theres anything that can be done about that Squirrel, If a resync happens sods law says its going to screw up as much as it possibly can. I would advise getting into more low-ping games if resyncs happen to you very often.

*Deleted original post I'll put this here*
Sound buffer setting will not stick
Windows 7 on a SB Audigy SE latest Creative driver
Every time I start BZ2 I have to set sound buffer location to hardware, and each time I reset BZ2 it defaults it to software mode, even though hardware has worked in the past version. Software is terrible listening and I would prefer to use hardware, but this is the only setting that will not save.
3D and 2D buffers are the only effected settings.

Check your devices under Sound. I use SRS Labs Audio Sandbox and, even though it's software, Windows detects it as hardware, so check to see if you have something like that installed.
